For your consideration we are offering for sale this 1950 Parker 51 Stainless Steel Flighter Fountain Pen. This fountain pen has been thoroughly taken apart, cleaned and put back together and now is in wonderful writing condition. 

Ultrasonically cleaned the NIB, feed, section, collector, breather tube, cap, barrel and Aerometric Filling System. Replaced the old ply sac with a new sac. Hand polished the Gold Filled Clip, Cap Band and 14K NIB. Polished the barrel and cap to bring back the bright brushed stainless finish.

This fountain pen barrel and cap are made from stainless steel and display no dings or dents. The cap is stamped with Parker and Made In U.S.A. The barrel is stamped Made in U.S.A. with date code 50. 

The Aerometric Filling System works wonderfully; 3 to 4 presses and fills completely. 

There are no monograms on the barrel. This Parker 51 measures 5 3/8" in length capped and 6" posted. The 14K Parker NIB has a Medium point measuring roughly .74mm, measured with digital calipers. 

When writing a sample the NIB writes with a medium line and very smoothly. The writing sample provided was done with the actual pen in the images that is listed for sale. I have tested the filling mechanism with water and fills as it should. The writing sample was used by dipping the NIB in Parker Quink Black Ink. 

Any specks of white in the images are from the cotton that I used to clean the barrel and cap.

This is an excellent condition vintage Parker 51 Fountain Pen that is in ready to write condition or just add to writing arsenal collection.
