Digital Non Contact Tachometer 

Non Contact tachometer employs the principle of reflective scanning. A reflector is used here to direct the light from a transmitter to the photoreceiver through a photoprobe. The receiver senses the reflected light each time the target passes through the light beam and the interval between the two reflected lights is processed to compute the RPM.
